Following is an excerpt from my book 'I AM NOT NITIN’ - I could have more than billions of names by just replacement of time place and parents to which I am born. Our birth is just accidental. The name with which I identify much saying I am so and so and I belong to such a family is just accidental. So, I was born nameless but as a hope for my family. Someday this child could possibly raise the name of the family by becoming successful. I think every father and mother in this world asks this question to their child, "What will you become; A doctor or engineer, someone big." The question shows the longing of parents for their child to achieve something in society. And the name is just not a name; it is also a projection of this longing, this desire. In India, some of the families have a tradition of giving a name to the child ceremonially, and the ceremony is named as, ‘Naam karan sanskar’.
