Bharat Ek Khoj

This time I am going to talk about Nehru; what a backward I am that I am going to talk about Nehru in the time of Modi and I know many aggressive comments are going to come on this post but let them come, I don't care. Once I was watching the serial on dd national named 'Bharat Ki Khoj' based on Nehru's book. In that episode Nehru's lecture was played, which he had given in front of villagers. In that lecture when Nehru started giving lecture villagers started shouting, "Bharat Mata Ki Jai, Bharat Mata Ki Jai.....". Nehru asked then, " Okay! You people are shouting, Bharat Mata Ki Jai, but who is this Bharat Mata? Is it a piece of land? Or, is it number of people? What you people think? No, it is not a piece of land or a number of people. No, it consists of all; the land, the people the trees, yes it consists all and more than that the thought process of people belonging to this nation."
I don't remember more of that lecture but the above lines are very important because it deeply defines a nation. The thought process of course is the most important and it should be free and if a government affects it directly or indirectly or trying to affect it then I think it is the greatest sin. I am not favouring any politician because politics is the least interesting subject for me. And I am fed up with politics the way it is interfering our thought process. The politicians of today are actually trying to highjack the thought process of a common man by forcing them to think in a set pattern. You can see the use of abusive language by followers of these politicians against the opponents.
