In India most of the marriages are arranged, love marriages are rare. It isn’t that I didn’t come in contact with other girls, but I wasn’t much interested in girls, as a good career was my only goal. But after getting the right job, getting confident enough that I could now afford a marriage, I decided finally, to marry. For the purpose, I gave an advertisement in a newspaper, so the right person could approach us. So many photographs were sent to me, but on seeing that particular photo, I was so pleased and felt a great love, which I had never felt for any other girl;...

मंजिल से दूर एक रास्ता दिखा और मैं चल पड़ा.... बिना ये जाने कि कहाँ पहुंचुंगा.... कभी कभी भटकने का भी मजा होता है.... बल्कि मजा तो भटकने में  ही होता है.... क्या है ये दुनिया .... बस एक घिसे हुए टेप की तरह चलते रहो.. वही करते रहो जो कल किया था और परसों फिर करोगे.... तो मैंने भटकने का फैसला किया.... रास्ते भी बड़े अजीब होते हैं .... कहीं न कहीं तो पहुंचाते ही हैं.... जबकि मंजिलें तो ठहरी रहतीं हैं... वहीं के वहीं... पर हमने मंजिलों को ऊपर बैठाया.... रास्तों को भुला कर... मगर भटकाना हो तो रास्ते ही काम आते हैं ...... मंजिलें नहीं..... मैं भटकना चाहता हूँ ...... इसलिए मैं चल पड़ा .... रास्तों पर रास्तों की तलाश में.... मंजिलों की नहीं... क्यूंकि मंजिलें ठहरी हुई हैं... रास्ते नहीं..... रास्ते चुनते वक्त लोग सही गलत का फैसला करना चाहते हैं.... मैं नहीं करना चाहता... क्योंकि भटकना तो तभी मुमकिन है जब रास्ता गलत हो.... फिर रास्ते सही हो या गलत चलने का मजा तो देते हैं... मंजिलें तो ठहरी हुई हैं.... और मंजिलें तो गलत ही होती हैं.... किसी की मंजिल धन कमाना......

भूमिका आप सोच रहे होंगे कि ये अजीब सा नाम क्यों। अरे भाई ये कहानी है हमारे शर्मा जी की और बेचारे थोड़ा कम हँसते हैं। बेचारे सुबह-सुबह ही कोई न कोई दुखी रहने का कारण ढूंढ लेते हैं और फिर कोई हंसी की बात हो तो सिर्फ हा हा हा कह के निकल लेते हैं। दरअसल हमारे शर्मा जी के पिताजी काफी पारंपरिक विचारधारा वाले थे, संघ के सदस्य थे और बेचारे शर्मा जी को बचपन से ही आदर्शो की घुट्टी पिलाते रहते थे। अरे मैंने आपको शर्मा जी का पूरा नाम तो बताया ही नही। शर्मा जी का पूरा नाम है आदर्श लाल शर्मा। जी हां पिताजी आदर्श कूट-कूट कर भर देना चाहते थे इसलिए नाम भी रख दिया आदर्श लाल। अब जब दुनिया में इतने गम हैं तो हमारे शर्मा जी को हंसने के मौके कम मिलते हैं। हालांकि की आपको बहुत मिलने वाले हैं, तो आप दिल खोल के हँसियेगा। आईये आपको शर्मा जी के परिवार से भी मिला देते हैं। जी परिवार शुरू होता है पत्नी से तो शर्मा जी की भी एक पत्नी हैं। जी हाँ एक ही है, क्या करें एक ही रखनी पड़ती है। खैर, शर्मा जी की पत्नी, इनका नाम है पूनम शर्मा, उम्र पैंतालिस साल, हमारे शर्मा जी तीन साल छोटी। उम्र के कारण इनका शर...
