Excerpt from the book 'I AM NOT NITIN'

"Once, Bodhidharma reached China. The King was waiting at the border to welcome him. He was a popular man. But, the King was surprised, “what type of man is this?"

Bodhidharma was wearing his shoes on his ears as if they were not shoes but earrings.

The King was surprised.

He stood across a man who looked like a madman - as if possessed by a ghost. Any normal person would be scared of his looks. But people love this man as a saint should be loved. Even the King was waiting to welcome him.

Bodhidharma was a great saint and a very knowledgeable person. No one could compete with his qualities. He was incomparable. He was just like Buddha; nothing less than that, but, a furious-looking man.

So the King started to think, he was mistaken to have recognized this man as the great Bodhidharma. maybe this man is just a false saint. Maybe he was fooling.

It was perfectly natural for the King to think this way - we all think like this when we make an image of a person by just his physical appearance.

The King was also making this mistake of recognizing a person like Bodhidharma by the outer appearance. You cannot recognize a mystic by his outer appearances.

So, the King was confused. But he was waiting and had waited so long.

But, now he grew confused about asking his question at all.

A tension had arisen in his mind. He was hopeful of getting the answer, but his tension consumed him. The tensin in front of Bodhidharma was natural because no explanation could be given to this man - he was inimitable.
The King asked himself, “what if I don’t get an answer? I have suffered. Therefore, would I have wasted all that time?”

So, he welcomed Bodhidharma.

After all, how could he judge a person like Bodhidharma, without asking anything?

But Bodhidharma had made a long journey. So, the King also had to take him to the guest house. The King asked Bodhidharma to come with him. After reaching the palace and before wishing him a good night’s rest,
the King asked his question very eagerly, “I am a King, and I don't understand but because of one reason or another, I am always anxious and restless. Please help.”

Bodhidharma said, “Okay! You come to me at 4 o’ clocks in the morning with your anxiety and restlessness. Show me these things and I will throw them away.”

The King was a little surprised, “Tension or restlessness are not of the material world. So how can I show them? This man must be mad.” The King departed wishing him good night.

After dinner, the King went to the bedroom. But he remained restless; this so-called saint made him more restless. He never experienced this overwhelming restlessness; never in his life. He tried to sleep but sleep was far away. And nobody could sleep after seeing such a furious face of Bodhidharma. He remained puzzled the whole night.

But now it was 4 o' clock in the morning and he decided to go ahead and see what Bodhidharma response would be, after all, he had waited so long for this moment.

When he reached the guest house, he saw a huge crowd of disciples, amidst whom Bodhidharma was sitting. Seeing the crowd it became more difficult for the King to ask his question and receive an answer. He
hesitated as he draws near Bodhidharma, who was watching him.

Suddenly, Bodhidharma spoke, “I was not expecting you alone! Where are the others who were bothering you so much?”

Now, it became more difficult for the King to understand.

He was hesitant to say anything. Feeling helpless he said, “I am here, now please guide me.”
Bodhidharma asked him to sit down with closed eyes and search, for his tension and restlessness. And Bodhidharma said, “When found tell me and I will solve your problem. I will throw these things away.”

The King followed the instructions.

Sitting down with closed eyes, he passed two hours in meditation.

Bodhidharma asked him, “Now stop! Enough is enough. Have you found what are you searching for?”

The King answered, “No! But, now there is no need. I understand what you wanted to say. And to my surprise, have never felt such a peace within.”

The King thanked him and departed for the palace.

The King had searched his tensions as if they were some material object inside of him and found nothing. Try this meditation."

Excerpt from the book 'THE GOD FACTOR FOR SUCCESS AND CONTENTMENT'

"I have heard about a beautiful dead body. And, that was of Alexander the Great. But what was beautiful about his dead body? It was his ability to give a message to this world, through his body. And, the message was great. The message was his whole learning; what he had learnt through his life. That is why even his dead body was beautiful – it contained a beautiful message.
When Alexander the Great was dying; he realized that now there is no way to survive. He was certain about his death. So, he called his ministers and told them that during his last journey, the journey to cremation ground, both of his hands should be kept open. So that, people could see that even a person like him; even Alexander the Great is leaving this world empty handed, with nothing to acquire; not a single penny.
He realized in his last days that he wasted his life: wasted just in accumulating lands, in accumulating wealth. But finally he was going, he has to go and he could carry nothing with him. He was going; acquiring nothing for which he had fought so many wars with so much bloodshed.
He visited India to won this place also. Here this realization slowly happened to him. What happened to him here in India that he came to this realization? India was always different. The perception of people here is the perception of east and it is different from the perception of the west. When he travelled India different experiences happened to him. Once he was travelling through India. After long journey he and his soldiers were hungry and thirsty. After long search for shelter and food, he reached at a temple, resided by a monk and his disciple. The monk welcomed Alexander.
But Alexander was full of pride; after all he defeated so many countries; how a monk like this could even stand before him. So, out of his pride he ordered the monk to serve some food and drink for him and his soldiers. The food was served. But to his surprise, he was served with diamonds and bread made from gold. So, he called the monk and asked him that how such things can be eaten. The monk answered, “Sir, you are Alexander the Great, a great emperor, how can I serve you simple things which every normal person eats. You are so special. Hence, something special should be served. How can a thing lesser than gold satisfy your hunger?”
Alexander said, “But these things can’t be eaten”.
Monk answered, “How can I insult you by serving simple dishes. So, I have served you with gold and gems. Please accept it”.
The message was clear and understood by Alexander the Great. And, when he was dying, he wanted to give this message to the whole world.
That is the limitation of human being. He looks through the curtain of thoughts, which society has given him. And, this curtain is the unreal world, the world of Maya. All ego centered problems arise out of this curtain; as if this curtain is magical. This curtain gives birth to an unreal world. If you have to see the reality then somehow you have to renounce this curtain. You have to come out of this curtain.
But Alexander was really great. That is why he became able to realize that he had wasted his life, in doing rubbish. He was great because at least he realized the fact. How many of the human beings realize this small fact. They waste their whole life accumulating, accumulating and accumulating; for what, even they don’t know and even on their death beds, they remain ignorant. Alexander had realized, at least."

Excerpt from the book 'ANGER MANAGEMENT: MAKE YOUR ANGER A MEDITATION'

"An Introduction

This  book that I am writing is for only a purpose that I want to see this world a more calm place. The more civilisation and technological advancement is prevailing, the more human being is becoming perverted. And more emotional problems are happening to humans. I am able to see drastic change in human beings at both society and individual levels. This change of emotional instability is increasing the danger for humans to be more violent and this is happening continuously.

Anger is becoming a great problem these days. That is why I am so interested in writing this book. This book will focus on many aspects of anger and try to make you understand that how understanding, mere understanding can let the anger go.
Many people ask me that for them it is very surprising to see me as if anger is a non-existent entity and then they ask how is it possible for me to control the anger? And I always answer them that I never controlled anger. And then they ask me, 'if you don't control it then how you behave stable; are you acting?' I always told them that anger is not such a big issue as we feel about it and sometimes it is nature's gift that God has given to us.
Why is it a nature's gift ? To understand this you can take the example of lord Shiva in Hindu mythology. In Hindu mythology anger seems not a bad concept. Some of deities like lord Shiva, Maa Kali do the good by their anger. From their character you can understand that anger is not a bad thing but whatever nature has given us should be used in a proper manner. And read carefully I said that it should be used. But how will you be able to use it? Because it is seen that you yourself is used by anger not that you use it; anger itself uses you. So this is the most fundamental question. How to use your anger? And that is why I have given this book the name Anger Management '. You have to learn managing your anger not to control it.
And while reading this book you will not only learn to win your anger but you will go deep into spirituality.
